Heads-up ace Dan ‘MrGR33N13’ Colman has been playing his A-game at the WCOOP as well: he won the NLHE High Roller Heads-Up event for $172,500, besting a field of the very best players around.

Dan ‘MrGR33N13’ Colman

This September, Dan ‘MrGR33N13’ Colman has booked an extraordinary record, profiting a yearly $1,000,000 without rakeback at PokerStars. Previously, no hyper-turbo SNG player achieved that in a single calendar year and Colman only needed eight months for the achievement. On Sunday, the US player further increased his winnings as well as his reputation by taking down WCOOP Event #44 $10,300 NLHE High Roller Heads-Up event.

61 players registered to the tournament to amass $610,000 in prize money. The field was not short of well known professionals to say the least; instead of starting to list them, take a look at the tournament setup below:

‘MrGR33N13’ defeated ‘FastCarsss’, ‘forhaley’, ‘Ben86’, ‘Caaaaamel’, ‘Lottenice’ and "0PIGGYBANK”, a respectable list indeed. In the finale with Martin "0PIGGYBANK" Finger, a deal was stricken, Finger accepting already at the start that Colman would win a little more.

‘MrGR33N13’ eventually won $172,500 for his first ever WCOOP victory. He was close to take down the SCOPP $21,000 High Roller Heads-Up event before but eventually finished 2nd for $160,399, being defeated by Ben ‘Ben86’ Tollerene alone. Clearly, Colman had his revenge now, eliminating Tollerene in the third round.

The end results are as follows:

1st: mrGR33N13 – $172,500
2nd: "0PIGGYBANK" – $163,000
3rd: Lottenice – $61,000
4th: Sussie Smith – $61,000
5th: fish2013 – $38,125
6th: caaaaamel – $38,125
7th: ChaoRen160 – $38,125
8th: TwoSHAE357 – $38,125
