In the contest of nations, Germany surprised the majority of players and professionals by coming in 1st, as most expected Canada to finish on the top. What rocketed the Germans to the first finish was the Main Event, where all top three positions were reached by their players: ‘PlayinWasted’ finished 1st for $1,493,499, ‘Allanon85’ was runner-up for $1,415,235 and ‘SwissCantMis’ came in 3rd for $1,101,835. It is still worth mentioning that the results are greatly distorted by the numerous US pros scattering around several countries, playing from Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico, above all.
