The six-time WSOP winner Layne Flack will let us have a sneak peek in his not-so-everyday life in the new reality show titled ‘Life in the fast Layne’.

Layne Flack used to be mentioned among the most promising poker players of all time. He has won five WSOP bracelets between 1999 and 2003. After winning two consecutive WSOP events in 2002, Layne earned himself the ‘Back to Back Flack’ nickname. His drug-related problems nearly broke his career in two, and although he continued to participate in poker tournaments (and even finished second in the $6,000 NLHE Final Day behind Eric Brenes at the 2004 WPT), he was unable to deliver the performance that was expected from him by his fans and the poker society.

Flack finally managed to leave his drug addiction behind and secured his sixth WSOP bracelet in 2008 by winning the $1,500 PLO tournament.

The title ‘Life in the fast Layne’ relates to the Eagles hit ‘Life in the fast lane’, which truly describes Flack’s attitude towards life. Although the American is not a drug addict anymore, he still favors alcohol and is an eager guest at every party. He is not unfamiliar with the feeling of having a hangover at the poker table, either.

Gutshot Entertainment, the producer company behind the show has not yet provided detailed information about the coming show, but the test episode is already viewable on the Internet. In this first part, Flack and his friends provide insight into their pretty unusual days spent at the UB Aruba Poker Classic.
