Day 5 of the EPT London Main Event started on Friday with 16 players, and play would continue until only the 8 participants of the final table remained. Sebastian Pauli started the day as the chipleader, and he leads the final table with a significant chiplead aswell, but he has fierce competition that includes EPT champions Jake Cody and Kevin MacPhee, aswell as Pablo ”gordiju” Gordillo, who gained fame when he won three tournaments in one night on PokerStars for more than $100,000. You can watch the live stream with revealed hole cards at the bottom of this article from 14:00 BST.

Play started on Level 23 (10.000/20.000/3.000 ante), and the first player to bust was Simon Deadman. In the hand Raffaele Sorrentino raised to 40,000, Pauli called from the cutoff and Deadman called on the button. Artur Koren called in the big blind, and all four players checked the K-5-K two clubs flop. The turn Ten of spades brought in another flushdraw, and after two checks Pauli decided to bet 120,000. Deadman went all-in for 462,000, Koren and Sorrentino folded and Pauli called.

Pauli held the K-J for trip Kings while Deadman only had the A-9 of clubs for a flushdraw. The Ten of clubs on the river gave Deadman a flush but also gave Pauli a full house, and Deadman was eliminated.

Yann Pineu busted in 15th, followed by Gino Gabriel, Joao Vieira, Jonas Lauck, Ognyan Dimov and Raffele Sorrentino. Sorrentino was busted by Pauli who already had a commanding chiplead. At this point the players sat together for the 9-handed unofficial final table, in the end, it was former EPT London Champion Benny Spindler who finished as the bubble boy, he 4bet shoved with AK only to be snapped off by Kevin Killeen’s KK.
