The Prague Poker Festival is now in full swing with the start of the €50,000 Super High Roller. A total of 41 players have entered on Day 1, there were 7 re-entries and registration is open until the start of Day 2. There are plenty of big names left in the field, including Tobias Reinkemeier, Mustapha Kanit, Stephen Chidwick, and last years €10,000 High Roller winner Ivan Soshnikov, who ended the day as the chipleader, which is no small feat considering he was also in play at the Eureka Main Event.

Soshnikov actually lost his stack at one point, when his table in the Eureka Main Event broke and he didn’t know where he was re-seated.

Soshnikov gathered 905,000 chips to finish as the chipleader, busting PokerStars Team Pro Online Isaac Haxton and WCOOP Main Event winner Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz.

In second place sits one of the stars of the poker reality show "2 Months 2 Million", Brian Roberts, followed by Juha Helppi, Martin Kabhrel and Tobias Reinkemeier, but last years Eureka Main Event (€92,500) and EPT Main Event (€378,000) third place finisher, Stephen Chidwick is still in aswell, looking to add a Super High Roller score to his impressive Prague resumé.

By the end of Day 1, 32 players were left, action will restart at 12PM local time, and play will go on until the final table of eight, or 10 levels, whichever happens first.
