As we have previously reported, PokerStars has introduced a special, $5 buy-in Spin & Go as part of their December Festival with a mind-blowing first place prize of $1 million. It took Russian player "sss66666" less than 15 minutes to win that prize in the first ever $1 million Spin & Go to happen on PokerStars.
The $1 million Spin & Go was introduced as part of the December Festival promotion but was extended until the end of January to give players a better chance of hitting the $1 million jackpot.
Three players had their lucky day yesterday when the $5 buy-in Spin & Go spun out the $1 million prize, the contestants were Russian player "sss66666", Belgium’s "geldduvel" and Bulgaria’s "Nonko999".
It took less then 13 and a half minutes for "sss66666" to win the tournament, the other players at the table have no reason to be unhappy though, they both received $100,000 for their second and third place finishes, you can see the final hand from the tournament below:
