The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event culminated in a 6-handed finale yesterday, in the end it was American Kevin Schulz who won the $1.49 million first prize and the title, defeating players like WSOP champ Chance Kornuth and online tournament pro Diego "Die Ventura" Ventura.
Six players started the finale of the PCA $10,300 buy-in Main Event with WSOP bracelet winner Chance Kornuth as the chipleader.

Play started on Level 29 (40,000/80,000-10,000 ante) and in the fifth hand there already was an elimination. Rami Boukai, who gave up an MMA career for poker, shoved with 910,000 and 3-3, Hambitzer called with A-Q and managed to spike an Ace on the flop to eliminate Boukai.
The next elimination took place 40 hands later when Juan Martin Pastor raised then shoved over the re-raise of Schulz with A-K. Unfortunately for him, Schulz had A-A and Pastor couldn’t get there on the K-J-4-4-A board.
During Level 31 (60,000/120,000-20,000 ante) Kornuth won a big pot against Hambitzer after shoving for 1.7 million from the small blind, Hambitzer called with K-J. The board came K-7-T-5-7 and Hambitzer was left with just 1.58 million which he 4bet-shoved not much later after Ventura raised to 250,000 and Schulz re-raised to 625,000. Ventura folded Q-T, Schulz called with Q-9 suited and managed to outdraw his opponent on the 9-7-3-9-6 board.
Schulz started 3-handed play with a significant chiplead, he had 15.88 million while Ventura and Kornuth only had 4.92 million and 3.62 million.
Not much later Kornuth shoved with A-8 suited, Schulz called with A-4 and made a straight on the A-J-5-3-2 board.
Heads up started with Schulz in the lead with 19.4 million chips while Ventura had 5 million. Ventura managed to climb up to 8.9 million but couldn’t get much going afterwards.
In the final hand on Level 32 (80,000/160,000-20,000 ante), Schulz called on the button with K-3 and Ventura checked with T-4 suited in the big blind. On the Q-6-4 flop Ventura check-called a bet of 365,000 and the two players saw a King hit the turn. Ventura check-called a bet of 775,000 from Schulz, and checked for the third time when another 6 hit the board. Schulz bet 900,000 and Ventura shoved for 3.105 million. Schulz called after a short while and won the tournament.
Before the PCA Main Event Kevin Schulz had live tournament earnings of $467,654, he won more than three times that with his Main Event victory.
