Using HUD softwares is illegal on the legalized online poker market of Nevada but this didn’t stop Tommy ”BTCBLADE” Chen in live streaming his play with a HUD on Twitch.

The first player to raise his voice on Twitter was Randy Dorfman, he took the screenshot (above) of Chen’s live stream on Twitch.

Dorfmann’s tweet quickly reached WSOP.com aswell and they announced an investigation on the matter.  As with every legalized Nevada online poker room, WSOP.com also states in its Terms and Conditions that such softwares are not allwed in the room.

Chen received only a warning from WSOP.com, but the Nevada Gaming Comission was also notified.

The NGA has since also started an investigation for violating the NRS 465.075, which is considered a ”B category” crime according according to local law. The player could recieve a $10,000 fine or up to 1-6 years in prison.
