This year, the WCOOP schedule includes Event #28, an 8-max No Limit Hold’em tournament with a $102,000 buy-in, set to take place on September 11.

The event will kick off at 18:30 (CET) with a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000,000 and currently there are four players registered to the event: Mikael "ChaoRen160" Thuritz, Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski, Georgios "GeoManousos" Sotiropoulos and heads-up professional iJustGamble.

We can expect most online crushers to show up for the tournament and one player is already guaranteed to participate. 2016 WSOP Player of the Year Jason Mercier will be live streaming his progress on Twitch, which will be by far the biggest buy-in online event ever streamed on the site.

There will be a 15 minute delay for security reasons and Mercier also plans to late register for the event, so we expect the stream to start around 20:00 (CET).

Mercier’s play will be commentated by Twitch superstar Jason "jcarver" Somerville so Mercier can fully concentrate on this huge event. Be sure to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to see one of the world’s best players in action!
