The King’s Casino is filled with poker players from all around the world.
Event #1 and #2 are already underway. All eyes are on the small town of Rozvadov, the Czech Republic, as the World Series of Poker Europe kicked off yesterday with the Event #1: €350 Opener No-Limit Hold’em.
The first starting flight saw 399 entries with 84 advancings to Day 2. The current chip leader is Renat Bohdanov, who accumulated 525,000 and has a commanding lead over current second Bartel Kars, who ended the day with 374,500.

Day 1B will kick off today at 6 pm local time, with several well-known names expected to join the tables, including 2019 World Series of Poker Player of the Year contender Robert Campbell, six-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, or David "ODB" Baker.
The €550 Pot-Limit Omaha (Event #2) started today, with 69 entries so far, but the late registration and the multiple Day 1s will make sure the field will get much bigger, and the prize pool will exceed the €100,000 GTD.
Vangelis Kaimakamis of Greece is the early chip leader, at the time of writing, he oversees a 65,000-strong stack.
The Europe edition of the series’ will offer a total of fifteen events for the players, including some high buy-in events and several tournaments in addition to the no-limit hold’em formats.
The €250,000 Super High Roller is scheduled for Wednesday, while the €25,500 Short Deck High Roller for Friday. The €100,000 Diamond High Roller will start on the 23rd, and €10,350 the Main Event on the 25th.
Besides the NLH and Short Deck events, Pot-Limit Omaha/No-Limit Hold’em Mix, PLO and Mixed Games will also be running.
The festival will conclude with the €550 Colossus No-Limit Hold’em which is scheduled to run between October 28 – November 04.
