Marek Sosnowski with his new ride
A 19-year-old Polish player, Marek Sosnowski took down PartyPoker‘s latest ‘Drive the Dream‘ challange, winning a super-cool Ł150,000 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe. Sosnowski doesn’t have a driving license yet; he’s working hard to get one as soon as possible. He has only been playing poker for a year, but as he states, he has taken the game very seriously, studied and learned very hard to be able to win this freeroll. As he goes on to say:
"This strategic approach has helped me get better and better. This is a life changer for me.”
Marek wants to be a cartographer, but now he might consider concentrating much more on his poker career, while he’s at it. He says he’s better in cash games than in tournaments, maybe this is the way he’ll go.
Needless to say, Sosnowski did not take the car of course, he said taxes would be way too high, and an Aston Martin would be a cool first car, but he might think it’s not appropriate, so he took the money equivalent instead. I can second that, I wouldn’t take the car myself if I haven’t had a license…
