The champion of the last ever EPT Main Event, Jasper Van Putten, took down the €10,300 No Limit Hold’em – 8 handed event for a cool €150,000, outlasting a field of 49. He beat Norway’s Preben Stokkan in the heads up.
Yet another title for Jasper
The field of the PokerStars Championship €50,000 Super High Roller already reached the final 3 with Timothy Adams in the lead. The big prize pool attracted many of the top-notch players with the likes of USA’s Nick Petrangelo or David Peters, Ireland’s Steve O’Dwyer and of course ‘the Germans’ also showed up to play – Koray Aldemir, Ole Schemion or Christoph Vogelsang were also in the field amongst others. Chip leader Timothy Adams will have to beat Adrian Mateos and Mikita Badziakouski in order to win the title. Not an easy quest to complete.
