102 players returned for Day 4 of the EPT Barcelona Main Event, but after 12 hours of play, only 25 players remained in hunt for the title, and leading them is Bram Haenraets, who is playing in his first ever live tournament.

Haenraets finished the day with almost 4.4 million chips, most of which came from a hand where he check/raised all-in on a board of JT43 (rainbow) with KJ, only to be called by Nick Rampone’s JT. The pot was worth over 160 big blinds and had 4 million chips in it, and Haenraets managed to scoop it with a river K.

Many big players busted, Jan Heitmann, Kevin Stani, Martin Finger, Mike McDonald, Davidi Kitai and Robin Ylitalo and Emil Patel were among the players who didn’t make day 5.

Today the tournament will play down until the 8 handed final table, and there are still a couple big names in action, Andrea Dato, Nick Rampone, and 2014 PCA and EPT Deuville High Roller winner Dominik Panka are still in the hunt for the prestigious title and the €1.26 million that comes with it.

Day 1 of the €10,300 (one re-entry allowed) High Roller tournament has started as well, with 378 players entries, which is by far a record-breaking field. The biggest €10,300 High Roller so far happened at EPT Vienna, with 181 total entries.

Leading the pack is Stephen Chidwick with 299,000 chips, but Dan Smith, Jason Mercier, Nial Farrell, Fedor Holz, Steve O’Dwyer and Vanessa Selbst also gathered more than 200,000 chips.
