The US pro outlasted a star-studded field of 79 on his way to the $1.4 million prizes.

As we reported earlier, the Triton Series is well underway in Montenegro, and after Steve O’Dwyer taking down the opening event, it’s now Bryn Kenney, who becomes champion in Budva, Montenegro.
The HK$500,000 6-Max tournament generated 79 entries, including 34 re-entries, with the world’s best players in the field. Household names with the likes of Tony G, Mikita Badziakosuki, Jason Koon, Chris Vogelsang or Sergio Aido were all amongst the participants.
Kenney, however, mercilessly played, executing several fearless bluffs, as he explained: “I made a lot of really good value bets, really good bluffs, played really ferocious, feel real strong. When you get in such a zone for a while, you can only really think about cards. I feel great, just because I only really care about how I play.”
The final table was a mix of European, Asian and American high-roller regulars. The founder of the series, Richard Yong exited in 7th place, good for $231,959, while Triton Ambassador, and partypoker Team pro, Jason Koon got 5th for $378,527.
Kenney played the heads-up against Daniel Dvoress and the latter started with the lead. However, Bryn was able to turn things around, and quickly become the chip leader. From that point, he didn’t look back and closed the tournament out with a rivered flush.
Bryn walked away with a $1,431,264 prize, while Dvoress with a – career record – $946,954 score.
