In addition to his major MTT successes, Johan Van Til wins dozens of WSOP packages each year. One will easily find periods when there are literally no Step 6 tournaments that kick off without him.
Dutch Johan ‘busto_soon’ Van Til gained fame around 2007 and 2008, when he was already able to show off a number of major results, after only 2 years into his professional poker career. He took down a number of $109 re-buy events and had tens of thousands of dollars in total winnings.
His biggest prize was $81,326 for the Full Tilt Poker Mini FTOPS Event #40 in 2011. His balanced performance can be easily followed in the charts below.

The Dutchman, ranked 149th on P5s, has also shown proofs of his outstanding endurance several times: for instance, while his FTP tournament graphs gradually improved, he had to turn his PS total from a $206,645 minus into profits and did so with excellent results, as can be seen below.

These results are already enough to describe an admirable poker career, but ‘busto_soon’ did not stop there. Considered the best Dutch player at a time, Til specialised in WSOP Main Event satellites. In June 2008, he won the 100th WSOP ME package of his career and he has kept collecting them ever since, with at least 10 packages won per year. There are periods when one will not find a single Step 6 $2,100 satellite without ‘busto_soon’ participating. As a result, he is widely known as the King of WSOP Satellites.
On the 2p2 forum, a member drew this in honour of Til’s won packages:
In August 2008, ‘busto_soon’ was ranked 7th by P5s – the year can be considered the peak of his career so far. The now 31 years old player has still a lot to offer, however: in 2012, he got two individual top 5 results. First, he finished 9th in the SCOOP-01-H event for $31,987 in May, then 12th in the WCOOP-22 $10,300 High Roller for $44,550 in September.
