There is much debate among poker players about which poker site has the best, most profitable games. In a recent review by PokerTableRatings, they compiled these charts that show which site has the most winning regular players, and how their number correlate with the total users online, giving us the percentage of winning players (good players) at specific sites.
PokerTableRatings have gone ahead and defined a ‘proven winner’ category of players, who has played at least 50,000 hands, out of which he turned profit, and investigated how many of all the players can be defined as a ‘proven winner’. This gave them a percentage, which is roughly the same as the ‘softness’ of the site.
There are a few interesting facts you might be interested in. In this chart it is obvious that Cereus and Party Poker, with a ‘proven winner’ percentage of 4-18% are relatively weak, and could provide you with many fish who are willing to ‘give’ you their bankroll. However, be aware of PokerStars, where the percentage of ‘proven winners’ is much higher, nearly 30% of their seats are occupied by them. There might be many resons behind this, it might be because of the strong player pool, or the high multi-table limit (24) at PokerStars. What is for sure, not all the sites give you equal chance of winning, you must be aware of the global strenght and skills of the players you play with.
