Formerly known as the face of PokerStars, Daniel Negreanu needs no introduction to any poker fans. The household names, who recently signed as the Ambassador for GGPoker sat down with partypoker’s Jamie Staples for an interview in the ‘Weekly Poker Showdown’.
In the podcast, Negreanu and Staples touched on plenty of exciting topics, including sustainable poker ecosystem, the poker dream, Daniel’s take on high-stakes online cash games among other things.
DNegs expressed his concerns on the behaviour of high-stakes players, who – especially online – hunt down the losing players in a second, which kills the games quickly. He believes poker should concentrate on the depositing players, as they are the ones who make the makes going. Daniel explained how it was a mistake from the online sites to reward the pros during the golden days of online poker.
