Dong "Donger Kim" Kim won $103.992 from Nick "TCfromUB" Frame in the15,000 hand heads-up challenge, which not only earned him the respect of the high stakes community, but also an additional $15,000 from the sidebets for the challenge.
As we have previously reported, Dong "Donger Kim" Kim had a massive lead over Nick "TCfromUB" Frame after 12 sessions in their 15,000 hands heads-up match on PokerStars. He had profits of $98.067 with 12.194 hands played, and TCfromUB stated that the challenge was pretty much over but that he is going to still play out the remaining hands.
The 13th session happened on February 26 and Donger Kim managed to increase his profits to $116,300, winning his 12th session total.
In the 14th session TCfromUB managed to win a little, decreasing Donger’s profits to $101.073. TCfromUB stated that he could have won 10 buy-ins or more but he ran into the top of Donger’s range in several key spots.
The final, 15th session took place on February 28, Donger managed to win a little, increasing his total profits to $103.992. He also won $15,000 from the sidebet on the challenge.
