Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan and Daniel ‘jungleman12’ Cates have continued their clash called the Durrrr Challenge 2, with quick little session. Durrrr only earned $1,429 by the end of the day, which is considered much more of a draw than a win for him.
"Just started vs jungle… Internet sucks and I don’t have too much time tho" – Tom Dwan tweeted on Sunday.
The 2 poker pros have suspended the 50,000 hand heads-up challange for nearly a month now, mainly because they participated at large events such as WSOPE and EPT London. I’ve just written about the latter one, (the final table is being played at the moment, you can watch the live broadcast here) where both durrrr and jungleman12 have both been eliminated during the qualifying rounds, so now they can continue their $200/$400 high stakes NLHE battle.
So far jungleman12 was the better, the 21-year-old NLHE heads-up pro led by a profit of nearly $700,000. During yesterday’s 1 hour 7 minutes game they played 582 hands and with durrrr earning $1.429, this session can be condisered a draw.
Only once was there a 6 figure pot, $103.786 on the table, which jungleman12 won with higher straight.
Here’s the hand:
The two players have played a total of 7,402 hands until now, out of which Daniel ‘jungleman12’ Cates have won 4,539 with a total profit of $689.
