Between 8 and 18 May 2014, the Concord Masters is running at no less than ten venues. The popular event offers a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool for a humble buy-in of €300.
The Concord Masters is one of the most unique tournaments these days, as its Day 1s take place at different locations; in fact, across several countries. The event is running from 8 to 18 May at the card rooms of the CCC group: in addition to the Montesino and the Simmering in Vienna, Bregenz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurth, Kufstein, Linz, Salzburg, Prague and Bratislava also host the event.
For a buy-in of only €300, a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool is offered, while a re-entry on all Day 1s is possible for €270. The winner is guaranteed to get a minimum of €100,000 and players who make it to Day 2 can also rest assured to win at least €1,000: €500 on the spot to cover travel costs and the rest on Day 2.
All players are entitled to enter multiple Day 1s and if they qualify to Day 2 more than once, they get the largest stack for Day 2 and €2,000 reward for each remaining ones (€500 on the spot and an additional €1,500 on the final day at the CCC Simmering).
On each Day 1, the starting stack is 30,000 in chips and blind levels are 30 minutes. The starting day lasts until the field registering at the given venue reaches the qualifying top 10%. Players surviving the day travel to Vienna for the finale, or in fact Days 2 and 3 of the Concord Masters on 17 and 18 May. The final days start on 17 May at 14:00 at the CCC Simmering and the remaining field returns on 18 May to determine the winner of the tournament. On Day 2 in Vienna, blind levels are 45 minutes and 60 minutes on Day 3.
