The Finnish poker pro was a male model before turning cards into his profession, but Holz has dabbled into something entirely new to him.
The Estonian clothing line Noetics Hood has chosen Fedor Holz and Patrik Antonius to advertise their new selection. The company’s main focus is hooded sweatshirts, but you can choose from other pieces of clothing as well, like a €112 long-sleeved shirt that Patrik Antonius wears on their front page. The Finnish cardplayer started out as a tennis player but had to give that career up due to a back injury, then turned to modelling while simultaneously delving into poker, so this gig was nothing new for him, unlike for the young Austrian player Fedor Holz.
The new ad campaign is poker-themed that’s why Antonius was hired as a “cash game ambassador” while Holz is their “tournament ambassador”.
You can take a look at the Noëtics commercial that stars Antonius below.
Poker players selling clothes is nothing unheard of, you can buy Phil Hellmuth’ signature hats on his website, Andrew Lichtenberger and Phil Laak has also made sponsorship deals with clothing companies before. Partik Antonius isn’t unique as a model at a pro poker table either, 2012 Miss Finland winner Sara Chafak has played against professionals in the Poker Stars show Shark Cage.
