Recently Bilzerian – who’s more known for the pictures of his outlandish lifestyle he posts on social media than for his poker ability – decided to livestream himself playing NLHE heads-up in the high stakes section of Americas Cardroom. Doug “WCGRider” Polk provided commentary for the game.

Many people have doubts whether Dan Bilzerian has amassed his fortune through poker as he claims. His father was a wealthy Wall Street hedge fund manager, which makes his story harder to believe. As Polk put it: “it seems to be very unlikely to me, but we’re never going to know for sure, because he does play a lot of high stakes poker, and probably has won a lot of money there as well.” Bilzerian’s net worth is estimated to be around $150 million according to celebritynetworth.com.

Last month, Bilzerian took over his friend’s, Bill “GASTRADER” Perkins’s account on ACR and played high stakes NLHE heads-up while live streaming it on Twitch. Doug Polk seized on the rare opportunity to actually see the infamous playboy play poker and published a 15-minute video analyzing his game. You can watch it below.

At the end of his analysis Polk reached the damning verdict on Dan Bilzerian: "all in all while Dan did play aggressive I wouldn’t say he played all that great, in fact there was some serious button clicking going on in this match. I think that maybe he could beat some high stakes very soft live games, but on the internet he’s a fish in the water".
