This was one freezing cooler: Dana Belman flopped a Royal Flush, riverred counterfeit quads on the side – meanwhile his opponent riverred top boat…

This hand went down in the $1K buy-in Pot-limit Omaha Tournament at the WSOP and it’s unlikely we’ll ever see something like this again.

Belman got dealt suited KQ and a pair of tens, so the hand already started well for him. And it only got better on the flop: ATJ all hearts meant he got hit with the absolute nuts. The flop went check-check, on the 9d turn Belman bet 2,000 (4 BBs) which got called. The ten on the river meant Belman had counterfeit quads – a rare treat even Omaha players can appreciate. Belman put out a 3,000 bet this time, then his opponent moved all-in so it was on Belman to make the easiest decision of his poker career and call. Belman’s hand alone probably shocked the other players at the table, let alone when his opponent turned over his cards: AAQ8, a top full house.

Pokernews.com reporting on the event did not write Belman’s opponent name in their articles for reasons unknown to us.

The tournament ended with Tyler Growth’s victory, giving him his first WSOP bracelet with his first live tournament win.
