You don’t even have to download an app it can be accessed through your smartphone’s browser – this is something that is unique to Intertops.
On-the-go poker, and mobile gambling in general have been growing in popularity – in Australia, for example some sports bookies announced that in-play turnover had tripled following their app’s launch.
Because of the large player traffic they can get through poker apps for iphone or android most online poker rooms have released their own apps. Some even have special promos for their smartphone or tablet players – like bet365. Partypoker tries to lure players into playing from their mobile devices by offering multitabling options on their app. But Intertops is the first one to make poker available and enjoyably playable on a cell phone browser.
Intertops-sponsored poker pro Tim O’Keefe claims he especially likes to play some cards on his phone for real money when the action at a live table is slow: "I just get my tablet out and open an online tourney or cash game while playing live – problem solved!"
So he basically figured out how to multitable playing live poker – or at least partially live poker.
