PokerStars Team Pro member Lew’s latest remarkable feature was his Guinness record set during the last PCA. In an effort to set the record of the most hand played online in 8 hours with profit, he played 23,493 hands and even made a (minor) profit of $7.65.
‘Nanonoko,’ who won his first major live prize last November, winning the APPT Macau for $484,617, has been playing considerably less in the past couple of weeks. This is due to the fact that he has been preparing for the audition for an online reality show organised by Japanese video game giant Capcom and titled Cross Assault. He wrote in his blog the following:
“Hi everyone! So there’s this new reality show by Capcom called Cross Assault that I’m auditioning for. I think this will be a great change up for me and I’m hoping to get on the show to have some fun and entertain everyone. Check out my audition video for Team Street Fighter and please support me by commenting, liking & sharing my video! Together we can get me on the show! Love you guys! Thanks!”

The Cross Assault online reality show is basically the promotion for Capcom’s upcoming video game Street Fighter X Tekken. Ten players will make it to the show, five in the Street Fighter and five in the Tekken team. The one week long fight will be raging for the $25,000 first prize.
Video games are just as familiar to ‘nanonoko’ as poker; he used to be a well known player, specialized in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and won several international tourneys. In one of these tournaments he met Hevad Khan, a player to come from the video game realm himself. Lew tried poker at his advice and soon became one of the best multitable players ever.
