The Taj Mahal in Atlantic City is a historic casino that made an apperance in arguably the best poker movie ever made, Rounders. It is where the lead character, Mike McDermott bluffs Johnny Chan, and this is where he goes with his friend Worm to play some cards after his girlfriend leaves him. Unfortunately, one of the most iconic places in Atlantic City is set to close its gates soon. Atlantic City casinos have been closing left and right in the past few years (with the Showboat and the Revel closing this month), but to see "the Taj" go is truly a sad sight for anyone who watched Rounders and dreamed of visiting the casino.
