The PokerStars mobile client has been activated for almost all markets through this year and the market leading company now launched an update for its iOS/Android users. The web-based Cashier is a solution for those only playing on their mobile devices, making it possible to make real money deposits and cash-outs  without the need to download the desktop client.

Even though the number of players exclusively playing via mobile is relatively low as yet, this is a significant improvement, as Apple has a 30% commission on in-app purchases and Google prohibits real money gambling via its Play store to begin with. Hence, mobile users used to have to download the desktop client to move their money in and out, while many rooms and networks already have browser-based cashiers.

The PokerStars web Cashier is available to the .eu and .es players with the v1.6 update. The .com and other regulated markets will see the introduction of the Cashier in the upcoming months.
