For years, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker have exclusively been offering online poker but now, parent company Rational Group decides to change that. Last July, the group announced the development of its casino games offering, which has recently kicked off at Full Tilt Poker in the form of blackjack and roulette. In accordance with the agreement between Rational and Leander Games, Full Tilt will use the LeGa platform to launch an expanded portfolio of online casino entertainment products.

However, the group would not stop here; it has just announced its intentions to enter the online sports betting market as well. Previously, the company had denied their potential involvement in the business, yet it has lately confirmed the news, Pokerfuse reports. Rational has been monitoring the online sports betting market to determine the ways it can best expand its operations.

Since Rational is early into the process, no specifics have surfaced yet. It is not yet known whether the sports betting client will be embedded in the online poker software but it is safe to assume transition between the two will be smooth.
