The only recreational player, who hasn’t chosen a pro yet, is LA celebrity, Rick Solomon. The list of the remaining pros hasn’t been published, so the poker world can only guess, which of the high-roller regulars will be joining Rick. According to rumors Salomon – who has the most seven-figure scores of the businessmen – will pick a top-notch US pro.

There are several teams, who made no surprise, like the Paul Phua – Tom Dwan duo or the Rob Yong – Sam Trickett pair. Phua explained his decision: “Tom is the first pro that I ever befriended who had some success in our private games in Asia. I think highly of Tom as a person, and while he may not be a high roller tournament specialist, the decision wasn’t even close. Not only is he a brilliant poker player, but every fan of No-Limit Hold’em loves watching Tom Dwan play his incredible brand of poker.”

The list of the entrants is not the only list with top-notch names on it. The commentators are also the best and most popular ones in the poker community. Fan-favorite streamers, Jeff Gross, Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew, and Lex ‘Raszi’ Veldhuis will be joined by Ali Nejad and Nick Schulman in the booth. The poker fans can follow the action live on the Twitch-channel of Tritons.

Partypoker will continue its partnership with Triton sponsoring this event as well. Triton and partypoker ambassador, Jason Koon said, he “couldn’t be more excited to be invited to play the Triton £1 million tournament – big tournaments have always been my true love when it comes to poker and to get to play the biggest one of all time is a real honor. It’s a surreal moment for me as a poker pro.”

As the event is a charitable tournament 15% of the prize pool will go to the One Drop Foundation. The organization was founded by Cirque Du Soleil boss and the creator of the $1 Million One Drop event, Guy Laliberté.
