So far two main tour tournaments have been played in the WPT, the one in Beijing ended with Taiwanese Pete Yanhan Chen coming out on top, pocketing nearly $300,000; while the one in Amsterdam was won by Kazakhstani Daniyar Aubakirov who took home $169 thousand.

The WPT will continue with its 3rd stop on a third continent, on August 4th at the Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK in the US. The buy-in for the Main Event is $3,700.

The rest of this year’s schedule was also released, 7 upcoming stops in total. Interestingly the WPT Choctow and the WPT Legends of Poker at "the Bike" and will overlap, as the former starts on July 20th and end on August 8th, while the latter starts July 28th and goes on until August 31st.
