In a recent interview with ESPN, Annette Obrestad claimed that "girls suck at poker". These comments are sure to be raising debate in the poker world, as we all know that there are more and more very successful female players (like Liv Boeree, Vanessa Rousso, and Clonie Gowen, just to name a few).

"It’s easy money… I’ve always said that girls suck at poker. I say that because they do. Maybe they just aren’t as competitive and don’t try to learn from their mistakes" says Annette.

During the very same interview, Annette Obrestad took the discussion one more step further by saying that all Doyle Brunson had was a huge ego and that she would easily outwit him.

Despite her huge live winnings and success in the field of poker, Annette is still not the most successful female player in the world, the top one being Kathy Liebert, whose live winnings exceed $5 million

Annette started playing online poker when she was 15, and claimed the title of the only woman to have ever won a WSOP main event in 2007, when she finished first at the WSOPE in London. She has cashed $2.7 million so far. Of course, this data does not include her humongous online winnings.

What do you guys think about this issue? Is Annette really the best in the world or is she simply lucky and big-headed? Does her level of skills justify the accusations she made against Doyle, the grandpa of poker?
