Norwegian Elisabeth Hille has already played the WSOP in Betfair colours and now she is officially a sponsored team pro member.

Prior to the World Series of Poker 2012 Main Event, Elisabeth Hille worked as a waitress. Then, she finished the tournament in 11th place out of the 6,598 contestants for $590,442. Hille arrived to Las Vegas together with his boyfriend, Harald Olsen, who finished 5th in one of last year’s $1,000 NLHE events. He sponsored 50% of her Main Event buy-in this year.

The Norwegian lady’s excellent performance made her famous in an eye blink and Betfair Poker did not take long to strike a sponsorship deal with Hille. This has not come as some great surprise, given that Hille wore the room’s patch on the Main Event as a “friend of Betfair Poker” player. From now on, she plays as a member of Team Betfair and also as the Norwegian Poker Ambassador of the room.

Hille joins players like John Tabatabai, Hans Martin Vogl, 2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate and another fresh recruit, Jon Driscoll, at Team Betfair.
