Twister is a three-way Sit n’ Go to offer a prize of up to 1,000 times the buy-in to the winner. And this is not the only novelty to hit the iPoker network skins.
The iPoker network, home to renowned online poker rooms like Betfair Poker, William Hill Poker, Coral Poker and Everest Poker, introduces Twister on 20 January 2014. Twister is a jackpot-based Sit n’ Go game with three players and a single table, where the winner takes the entire prize pool. Buy-ins range from $1 to $10.
The jackpot element in the game is that the amount of the prize pool of each Sit n’ Go is determined randomly and allocated from the jackpot pool. All buy-ins contribute to this latter amount and the minimum you can win is two times your initial buy-in, while the jackpot multiplier can reach up to 1,000x.
For instance, the winner of a $10 Twister Sit n’ Gos will win $20.01 if no multiplier is applied, as a third of the total prize pool is allocated to the jackpot and a fee is also deducted. If, however, the RNG favours this winner, they can take home as much as $10,000, or 1,000 times the original buy-in. The network has published a chart to show the odds for each payout; the chances of winning 1,000x the buy-in is 1:20,000.
Up to six Twister Sit n’ Gos can be played at the same time.
What is more, Twister is not the only addition to the iPoker rooms; a new cash game lobby is introduced, which can group tables by game type as well as buy-in. You can choose from three different view options:
- List view: traditional view that displays tables in a list
- Group view: tables are grouped by game type and buy-in and a Play Now button is available for quick seating
- Combined view: the combination of three views: grouped, list and according to table preferences
Additionally, pop-ups can now be disabled and an Auto Open Tournament Lobby option has been added. Tournament buy-ins are displayed in a contracted form, that is, fees are not shown separately. For instance, a €9.10 + €0.90 tournament appears as €10.
