The nine-handed Final Table of WSOP Event #43 $1,500 Limit Hold’em took place on tournament Day 3.

Dan Kelly

WSOP 2010 $25,000 NLHE Six-Handed champion and former online MTT money list winner Dan ‘djk123’ Kelly had the lead, but he was accompanied by the likes of five times WSOP champions Jeff Lisandro and David Chiu, or this year’s $1,000 PLO title holder Brandon Shack-Harris.

The Final Table Seat Draw was as follows:

Seat 1: Yegor Tsurikov – 361,000
Seat 2: David Chiu – 473,000
Seat 3: Ron Burke – 166,000
Seat 4: Brandon Shack-Harris – 269,000
Seat 5: Dan Kelly – 734,000
Seat 6: Jesse Katz – 294,000
Seat 7: Jeff Lisandro – 177,000
Seat 8: Bryce Landier – 112,000
Seat 9. Sean Berrios – 373,000

Play started on Level 21 (10,000/20,000) and as early as the 11th hand, Ron Burke was out, pushing with pocket nines against Jesse Katz’ Q:c 7:c and Sean Berrios’ A:c J:c hand, to which three clubs arrived on the board. Berrios won with ace high flush and jumped to 640,000 in chips with the side pot.

Bryce Landier was eliminated in 7th, losing a flip to Katz, and then Lisandro and Yegor Tsurikov moved all-in on Level 23 (15,000/30,000) on the J:d T:h 5:d 7:d board. Lisandro played with K:s Q:s, Tsurikov held K:d 9:d and the 8:c on the river changed little.

Chiu came next, and then Katz lost most of his stack before shoving with pocket eights against Berrios’ A:h Q:c to see two queens and an ace on the board to give the latter a full house. Eventually, Berrios still finished 4th before the heads-up was set with the elimination of Shack-Harris.

Kelly had the lead at the start of the heads-up and maintained his dominance. On Level 27 (40,000/80,000), Tsurikov raised, Kelly 3-bet, Tsurikov 4-bet and they were all-in.

Tsurikov: T:s 6:c
Kelly: J:s T:d

Board: 7:c 8:h 7:d Q:d 9:h

Kelly won his second career bracelet with a straight.

End results:

1st: Dan Kelly – $195,167
2nd: Yegor Tsurikov – $120,501
3rd: Brandon Shack-Harris – $78,335
4th: Sean Berrios – $57,536

6th: David Chiu – $32,338
7th: Jeff Lisandro – $24,683
8th: Bryce Landier – $19,051
9th: Ron Burke – $14,856
