As I have hinted earlier, already at the beginning of the WSOP Main Event it was estimated to house over 7,000 participants.

According to the latest calculations, with 1,125 players taking part on Day 1a, 1,489 on Day 1b and 2,314 on Day 1c, meaning around 5,000 participants, the final number by the start of the Day 1d event will culminate as high as 7,000-7,500.

As of yet, 1,800 seats have been sold with around 2,000 more to go for Day 1d, and according to last year’s experience, we can expect enough seats being sold so that the limit mentioned above will be at least reached if not surpassed.
